A Few Points to Remember :-

We are privileged to be allowed to come into contact with the Himba people, but it is important to realise that the most innocent seeming act of kindness or generosity on our part could have serious implications on their fragile existence. We ask Guests to observe the following :-

• NEVER offer sweets to children (or adults) even if they are begging for
• them. The toothbrush is unknown to the Himba!
• NEVER offer alcohol to anyone for obvious reasons.
• NEVER enter a village (kraal) without permission.
• NEVER drive through a settlement.
