This Adventure will satisfy anyone and everyone.

Novices will experience all the thrills and adrenaline pumping excitement they could imagine, while experts with a thirst for adventure will appreciate the quality of the rapids to be discovered in the Ondorusu Gorge.

Having been kitted out with your helmet and life-jacket, you will be taken a short drive to your starting point, where the Guides will ensure you understand all the essential safety principles.

You will start paddling in gentle conditions, getting the feel of your boat in preparation for the rapids ahead. After a brief explanation of what is to come, you will plunge into white water - and emerge triumphant!

After a short spell of quiet water, more rapids of varying difficulty will follow. As always, the river conditions on the day will determine the class of rapids you encounter. Amongst those you conquer may be Fish Pop, La Bamba, Devil's Backbone, Surprise and Snorkel, but what's in a name? It's the achievement that counts!

After paddling a short stretch of quiet water you will arrive back at Kunene River Lodge - exhilarated beyond measure.

During your trip you will stop for a breather and refreshments at a beautiful area called Wit Sands. Take the opportunity to re-apply that all-important sun-screen!
