What a fantastic place! I never thought I'd be able to do the rafting but, under Gert and Kumalo's expert guidance, I survived and found it exhilarating beyond measure. Thanks to Pete's fantastic knowledge, we found and photographed the Cinderella Waxbill during an interesting and fascinating walk. We spotted animals and loads of the more common birds at close quarters during the sundowner cruise and while kayaking - and even more birds in the lodge grounds, Seeing how Himba people have lived for centuries taught us a lot. Our accommodation and food were excellent. Hillary and the friendly staff were always there to help whenever we needed it. The only problem - we didn't allow enough time to do more before we had to leave!
We look forward to returning soon.

Wonderful time. Beautiful campsite, Excellent and warm hosts. Loved the deck and the hot mopane shower in the morning. We'll be back.

We had a short but very impressive stay. The rafting was great fun and Wentzel, our guide, made it an adventure. We returned at the right time for sundowner and had a lovely beer at the terrace. We will for sure will return.
